Seminar: Healthy Leadership – Securing Performance and Preventing Absences

Practical seminar including individual stress analysis for groups up to 12 participants

Leaders have a significant influence on their employees’ ability to work and perform. Within their area of responsibility, they also play a key role in promoting health and well-being within their teams.

At the same time, leaders are employees themselves and face high demands and expectations.

This seminar offers practical insights into how to master this balancing act and lead both yourself and your employees in a way that promotes health, well-being and performance.

The seminar addresses, among other things, the following questions in a practical and hands-on manner:

  • What exactly is stress and how does it affect the body and mind?
  • What roles and responsibilities do managers have in their day-to-day work?
  • What are the hallmarks of healthy leadership?
  • What does healthy leadership mean for employees and for the leader themselves?
  • What impact does leadership behaviour have on performance, work behaviour and health within a team?
  • What is the HELP concept?
  • What is the responsibility of a manager when dealing with psychological distress in their team?
  • How can a manager specifically support employees experiencing mental health challenges?
  • What does the Incompetence-Compensation-Competence model mean in leadership practice?
  • How does burnout develop and when does it become a serious problem?

The seminar is partly based on Gert Kaluza's scientifically sound Programme for Promoting Psychological Health, which is recognised by the top associations of statutory health insurance funds.

Following the seminar, each participant will receive an individual stress analysis with a personal evaluation.

Stress Analysis & Mental Health Check

The Stress Analysis & Mental Health Check is based on scientifically sound procedures. At the core of the programme are the recognised AVEM assessment (Work-Related Behaviour and Experience Patterns) and an analysis of stress-amplifying thought patterns developed by Gert Kaluza.

The AVEM test is scientifically validated and is recommended by the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA) in Germany, among others, as an instrument for individual risk assessment and burnout prevention.

The stress analysis is carried out using a written questionnaire lasting approximately 15 minutes.

Following this, I will discuss the individual results in a personal and confidential one-to-one meeting via video call or telephone with each participant.

I address the test results individually and, if necessary, show concrete starting points for improvement.

This seminar goes beyond pure knowledge transfer: the integrated stress analysis provides participants with concrete insights into their mental load and highlights individual starting points for improvement.
